Rebwar
The life of Art Photographer Rebwar was never boring, as he grew up in the Kurdish city Mahabad within a large family. He did not stay in one place and moved around a lot to different neighborhoods.
Rebwar was always excited to talk to other people and seek out their experience, and by doing that, he multiplied his own perspective and curiosity.
At the age of 19, he decided to leave his hometown to find new experiences in another environment. Also, his career pushed him to move forward. He went to Iraq and continued his journey to Turkey.
Along the way his love for photography only grew. To witness and live in different cultures gave him the true motivation to capture these moments with his first camera.
All the different people and different ideas inspired him to start with street photography. In 2017 he studied Photography Design and Film-editor in Amsterdam to develop himself even more within his work field. Two years later, he directed his first short film called RED CIRCLE. This short film is based on a self-written drama romance story and took almost a year of preparation and shooting. In the end it was totally worth it. Rebwar’s strength is that he always pushes himself to do better. Where most people give up, he keeps it going.
In the meantime, Rebwar continues to build a strong art photography work portfolio. He has been focusing on combining the human face and body with materials to freeze the emotions and show the story from his own perspective. His work is always out of the box and makes you think about the story behind the pictures. Next to art photography is Rebwar your go-to person when it comes to commercials and advertising videos. It is all about connection!
