Filmregisseur

Trei Hill is een filmregisseur uit Germantown, Maryland. Tijdens zijn jeugd ontwikkelde hij een passie voor optreden en het organiseren van toneelstukken, bands en koren op school. Met de focus op football, sloot Trei zich aan bij Division 1-programma's aan de University of Alabama-Birmingham en Alabama A&M University. Hij begon op te treden en hiphopevenementen door het hele land te organiseren voordat hij naar het Art Institute of Washington ging. Tijdens zijn studie begon hij muziekvideo's en promotiemateriaal te regisseren voor verschillende artiesten uit Washington, DC.

Hierop volgde een kort avontuur als instructeur bij de "Gandhi Brigade", een non-profitorganisatie in Silver Spring, MD, met lessen die zich richten op het maken van PSA's en sociaal bewuste documentaire producties. In deze periode organiseerde Trei ook verschillende muziek- en Kickstarter-evenementen waar hij optrad als ceremoniemeester. Hij werkte meer dan drie jaar als productieassistent aan grote filmproducties, waaronder Netflix House of Cards, Jason Bourne, Black Lightning, Loving, Bad Moms Christmas, Ghostbusters en nog veel meer. Na het behalen van een MFA in het Graduate Film & Television Program aan het Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta, Georgia, ontwikkelt hij momenteel zijn volgende filmproductie en geeft hij les aan de universiteit.

De eerste korte film van Trei, Federation Temple, werd uitgebracht in 2019 en won meerdere prijzen in de categorie sciencefiction. Daarna volgden talrijke korte films in 2021, waaronder het sci-fi werk Child:Indigo. Child:Indigo heeft al deelgenomen aan het Bronze Lens Festival, het New Vision International Film Festival en ontving de prijzen voor Beste Actie/Sci-Fi en Beste Cinematografie op het Georgia Shorts Film Festival.

Nu maakt hij trots deel uit van het Foxer Talent-team en begint aan een nieuw avontuur!

Film director

Trei Hill is a film director from Germantown, Maryland. During his youth, he developed a passion for performing and organizing school plays, bands, and choirs. With a focus on football, Trei joined Division 1 programs at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and Alabama A&M University. He began performing and organizing hip hop events across the country before attending the Art Institute of Washington. During his studies, he started directing music videos and promotional materials for various artists from Washington, DC.

This was followed by a brief stint as an instructor at the "Gandhi Brigade," a nonprofit organization in Silver Spring, MD, teaching classes on producing PSAs and socially conscious documentaries. During this period, Trei also organized several music and Kickstarter events where he served as the Master of Ceremonies. He worked as a production assistant for over three years on major film productions, including Netflix's House of Cards, Jason Bourne, Black Lightning, Loving, Bad Moms Christmas, Ghostbusters, and many more. After obtaining an MFA in the Graduate Film & Television Program at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta, Georgia, he is currently developing his next film production while teaching at the university.

Trei's first short film, Federation Temple, was released in 2019 and won multiple awards in the science fiction category.
